KNARR standard parts library for NX users

With the introduction of the specific standard parts library, KNARR offers an additional service for all users of the Siemens NX software and thus helps to optimize development processes and ultimately make the entire design process more efficient.

Native data

All available standard parts are equipped with the design-relevant attributes. By parameterizing the components, adjustments within the design are possible at any time within the available standard dimensions.


Find the right part quickly and easily

Using so-called multi-variants, which are stored for some assemblies, finding the right part becomes child’s play. The underlying principle is simple and user-friendly at the same time: regardless of the article number or designation, you approach the standard part by selecting the desired properties (e.g. diameter, material, coating, corner radii, etc.). Depending on the definition of the filters, only parts that meet all the desired properties can be selected. 


Seamless integration

The integration into the NX design software is carried out via a simple, short installation, for which no administrator rights are required on the respective computer. Handling the library and loading the components is also intuitive. Similar to the print and online catalog, the library is characterized by a clear and structured categorization. Detailed information on handling is also available in the supplied manual. From ejector technology to slide and guide elements to standard plates – the library contains design data for around 300 different standard parts including thousands of different dimensions.


Update and maintenance

The first release represents another milestone in our ongoing search for innovation and efficiency. At the same time, we are committed to the continuous development and updating of the library. Although the service is of course available to our partners and customers free of charge, all users are recorded in order to inform about updates to future versions.
