KNARR’s manufacturing techniques also enable the new venting variant for other areas of ejection technology such as flat ejectors, shouldered ejector pins or ejector sleeves. Due to the large number of different base parts, a standardised solution was deliberately avoided. Florian Schneider explains why this is not a disadvantage for the mould maker: ‘ Within the category of flat ejectors alone, we offer around 20 standard variants with thousands of dimensions. It would not be very customer-friendly to offer just one flat ejector. Instead, the mould maker should simply look for the exact ejector that is required and we will add the venting.’ The KNARR technician sees another interesting aspect as a matter of course: ‘Of course, even the channel depth of the vent can be customised for completely individual solutions.
