Flat guiding for increased requirements

Guide elements are generally used to ensure the exact centring of the tool halves. As a new series in this product family, KNARR now offers a standardized flat guiding which, thanks to its variety of models, is suitable for a large number of tool sizes – also for large moulds.

The guiding consists of a pair of gliding plates and a bar serving as central guiding. All components are hardened to ~ 59 HRC. In addition, a standard DLC coating of the outer sliding plates guarantees wear resistance as well as optimal gliding and dry running properties. Radial lubrication grooves facilitate additional lubrication.

The convenient installation depth of 25 mm to a maximum of 45 mm minimizes the effort involved in machining the pockets on the side.

The flat guiding is immediately available in widths of 30 mm, 40 mm, 60 mm, 80 mm, 100 mm, 120 mm and 150 mm. Accordingly, different standardized guiding lengths are obtainable depending on the width of the bar. The components are offered as a set (542040) or individually (542041 / 542042).
