Deflection baffles made of plastic

Homogeneous cooling

The cycle time is an essential factor for the economical production of plastic parts. This in turn is heavily dependent on an optimal mould temperature and reacts very sensitively to even the smallest changes. This is one reason why uniform temperatures are so important to tool designers.

Profile creates turbulence

Our plastic deflection baffles contribute to the homogeneous temperature balance. The baffles are made of glass fibre reinforced polyamide 66 (PA66GF) and have a frontal profile. When the medium is deflected, turbulence is ensured at the same time. In addition, the plastic used is characterized by high strength and, above all, high dimensional stability. In combination with the turbulence, the medium also takes the desired path through internal holes. The result is ideal heat dissipation in the entire cooling circuit.

Plug or thread

The plastic baffles are available either with a plug including an O-Ring (72111) or alternatively with a thread (72121). The first option can be used at a permanent temperature of 200 ° C. In the alternative solution, the thread is glued to the baffle. The adhesive is designed for a permanent temperature of 150 ° C. Both versions are available in the common diameters of 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm and 14 mm. The lengths depend on the diameter and type and range from 329 mm to 333 mm. The baffles are available in packaging units of four. Two of them are equipped with a connecting piece, the other two with the matching counterpart. The parts can thus be easily connected together and extended to a total length of up to 625 mm.n.
