As an established part of our apprenticeship programme, we are once again starting this year with an intensive and varied induction week. Alongside training sessions and hands-on activities, the new apprentices will have the opportunity to make their own nutcracker as a keepsake. This enables them to directly apply the manufacturing techniques used at KNARR, become familiar with the materials and processes involved, and develop a basic understanding of practical manufacturing workflows. In addition to a company tour, a scavenger hunt through the building offers a fun way to find their way around the premises while also strengthening team spirit.
“A well-structured start to an apprenticeship has a significant influence on the course of the training that follows. For new apprentices, starting their training means entering an unfamiliar environment with many new impressions and challenges. It is therefore all the more important to provide guidance from the very beginning, reduce uncertainty and build excitement for the training period ahead. A successful introduction creates trust and lays the foundation for successful and sustainable vocational training,” emphasises Luisa T., trainer responsible for commercial apprenticeships.
With its induction week, KNARR follows exactly this approach. The new apprentices have the opportunity to get to know the company, their colleagues and the company’s processes at an early stage and to feel part of the team right from the start.
The KNARR Group looks forward to supporting the three new apprentices over the coming years and providing them with promising prospects for their professional future within the family-owned company.
